Cocktails, dinner reception and many, many desserts to follow!
We've had a few people ask if there is a dress code for the wedding. Having our wedding in historical Alexandria, a semi-formal, summery, vintage-y feel would be most appropriate. Guys aren't restricted to black, feel free to wear a nice grey or beige suit as well. Keep in mind part of the day will be outside, so we wouldn't recommend wearing anything too heavy. And if you're curious, the colors used in the design of this website are the colors of the decor of the wedding.
We are so very excited to share our wedding day with you! We have worked very hard to make it a day that all of you will enjoy, from the minute you first walk in the door of the hotel, to the last dance.With this in mind, we respectfully request that no uninvited children be brought to the ceremony, or to the reception. We know you love your kids (we do, too!), but this is an adults only party. We are limited in space and we wanted to include as many of our adult family members and friends as we could. There will be many other occasions in the future where kids will be welcome, but please honor our wishes to keep this a quiet, elegant affair.
